Camden Town – Northern Line. Then 2 minutes walk up to the markets – brilliant. Rain or shine, it does not really matter, as much of it is under cover. You can then pick up a boat/barge trip to Regents Park Zoo. The amazing fascias above the shops around the market areas are breathtaking! There are numerous foodstalls to try of every nationality and several cafe bars.

·         Monday to Friday in London

Monday to Friday Try The Tate Modern Gallery, www.tate.org.uk and then walk over the Millenium bridge towards Saint Paul’s Cathederal. Alternatively visit the Tate and then take the Tate Boat down the River Thames. 020 7887 8888.

· AVOID!!!!!   LONDON EYE The BIG wheel giving you the best views of London from the heart of London but beware this can take a long time and once you are on you can not get off. Not recomended for quick trip in the city. We say AVOID.

·         Changing of the Guard

Buckingham Palace and Horse Guards  can both be seen, one after the other,  if you rush through St James Park.But check  schedule first there is a summer and winter timetable plus special events.

Start at 11.00 am sharp [10.00am sunday] on Whitehall just below Trafalgar sqare next to Downing street. You will  need to leave by 11.20 before the end  of the ceremony and dash out through the back of Horse guards parade and through St James park to arrive at Buckingham palace just after the ceremony has started at 11.30. If you do not need to rush then start at Buckingham palace for the 11.30 and catch the Horse Guards  for their 4.00pm guard change.

Starting at Oxford Circus/Regent street/Caranby street/Piccadilly/Liecester Sq/Covent Garden

Start at Oxford circus. Walk a few blocks down Regent street and turn left: Great Malborough street and turn onto Carnaby street.

Turn left at the bottom and walk through into Soho, on Beak street.

Turn Right onto upper james and then lower james into Picadilly Circus.

Follow left along Coventry street towards Leicester Square. Stay straight for Cranbourn and Long Acre until you reach Covent Garden Tube. Turn Left and enter Covent Garden Market   Get Directions  – www.coventgardenmarket.co.uk

·         Upmarket West End shopping walk.
South Molten street/Bond Street/The Ritz/Piccadilly/Haymarket and Trafalgar Square.

Start on Oxford street at the Bond Street Tube station walk south down South Molten street

Turn right towards Old Bond Street. Follow all the way down to Picadilly. If you look right you will see the Ritz Hotel Formal dress code and reservations are  required for afternoon tea so better to turn left back towards Picadilly Circus for a two or three blocks.Turn right on Duke steert and then left on Jermyn Steet to walk parraelle with Picadilly and end up south of Picadilly circus on The Haymarket. Turn Right and you will be at Trafalgar square

·         Tower of London + Tower Bridge

Take a walk around the Tower, stroll  across the bridge and walk around St katherines Dock making sure to stop at Charles Dickens INN for a classic Pub Lunch and a pint. Nearest Tube is Tower Hill
